Courtenay Stickels is a veteran of the voice over world, having worked in the Australian & New Zealand advertising industries for 20 years. It was a lucky break at 21 that saw a prominent production house in Melbourne take a chance on her husky and relaxed tone for a new Diet Coke campaign. At the time, it was a risky deviation away from the standard high energy sell, but it paid off. Since then, Courtenay has carved out for herself a successful niche market, Australia & worldwide, in sultry, conversational reads that are very easy on the ear. Her earthy tone makes this singer at heart, an easy fit for corporate and documentary narration. She teams up regularly with her video producer partner to voice projects for corporate and not-for-profit organisations such as The Fred Hollows Foundation, Earthcare Education Aotearoa and Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
